We are excited to share a custom build that the team has been working on over the past few months.
Morgan, based in the colder northern hemisphere, was drawn to the Styrda 600C amphibious catamaran. However, given that the weather in his area is typically chilly for nine months of the year, he requested an enclosed cabin for the 600C. After discussing his preferences, the Styrda team came up with several concept ideas. Following a few rounds of emails and render reviews, the design was finalized, and the project moved forward.
Though the addition of cabin windows and doors added some weight and reduced the payload capacity compared to the standard 600C, this wasn’t an issue for Morgan. He mentioned that the boat would mostly be used by him and his wife.
After about four months of fabrication, painting, and assembly, the craft is set to hit the water next week. Check out some photos that show the journey from initial renders to where the build stands now!
