Bradley has been part of the Stryda journey for several years.
Based in Auckland, he owned a Gen 1 Stryda 600C, Andiamo. Over the past five years, Bradley has enjoyed the versatility and reliability of his amphibious craft, using it regularly around the Hauraki Gulf..
Over time, he got to know exactly how he uses his boat and what would make the next one even better suited to him.
After five years, Bradley decided it was time for something bigger, with a bit more space and a few extra features.
Having owned an amphibious craft for several years, Bradley had a clear sense of what mattered most to him — from the boat itself to the support behind it. When it came time to choose his next boat, the Stryda 900C stood out for its larger deck space and layout.
“The space on the 900C is fantastic — there’s so much more room to move around and relax.”
Compared to his 600C, the extra room opens things up for longer days on the water, whether it’s fishing or spending time with family and friends.
This time around, Bradley took the opportunity to set the boat up exactly how he wanted. After years of experience with his 600C, he knew what worked for him and that’s what he chose for his 900C:
Soon after taking delivery, Bradley set off from Omaha to Great Barrier Island aboard Andiamo 2 – a fitting next chapter after five years with his original Andiamo.
With a moderate sea state on the day, it was a good test. Even so, he comfortably cruised at around 26 knots.
His feedback on the ride was straightforward:
“The ride feels just like the 600C — soft and dry.”
That familiar ride quality was important. While the boats are different (catamaran vs monohull) the core Stryda feel remains the same.
