Build Update: Final Stages of Fabrication

Missed it? Check out Part 2 of the blog here.

The Stryda 10m Cat is now in its final stages of fabrication, an exciting point where the build really starts to come to life.

Seeing the boat in its physical form shifts the perspective. What started as drawings is now something tangible, making it easier to picture how it will be used on the water.

Working closely with John, we have added a number of features to enhance the fishing experience while keeping the boat comfortable for a few days away. The aim is a well rounded setup suited to both fishing and overnight trips.

Upgrades Under Discussion

  • TV and Starlink connectivity
  • Reading lights in the cabin
  • Skyhook joystick system
  • Additional display outside the cabin
  • Rotatable outriggers on the roof
  • Solar panels to help keep batteries topped up

This Stryda 10m Cat is shaping up to be a versatile platform you can fish from, relax in, and enjoy over a few days on the water.

Next up is the paint shop, and the big question remains. What colour will the first 10m Stryda catamaran be?

Stay tuned, not far to go now.
